The way Parra’s demeanor is almost identical to Bricio’s lol

me think Parra could use a smile Now now, it’s the 21st century. We don’t tell women to smile People tone policing Chicoine in the previous match as well.

Nice win for the Badgers. They made big plays to close out the third set. Huge day for Robinson, obviously. A lot in the tool box for the Badgers, clearly, and the setting in the first two matches has not looked like the first weekend, or other teams I have watched in the first weekend, which is a great sign. They really did a great job on Parra's serve. I saw a Bricio comparison, that nasty of a serve, which (Bricio's) is tied for Larson for the second nastiest I have ever seen in person. Obviously, the PTSD inducing one will hopefully never be duplicated by a non Badger.

I liked the look of TCU. Add Nalls and they will give Texas trouble.

(And this is why the Big ten only schedules 2 hours for matches... 😉)

I liked the look of TCU. Add Nalls and they will give Texas trouble. 100% I mean no one really in the big 12 will be as tall as Wisconsin so it was just a bad match up from the start. I think once they figure out the passing this team will mesh better

Post match analyst agreeing with me about the best lineup. TTA at OH. GG at L, Orzol DSing for TTA. Thought the best lineup that played was yesterdays. But maybe Robinson doesn't go off without Orzol in at OH.
Some big problems
1. What happens when you have to switch to a 5-1. Wrobel is the only option at RS unless you stick with Devyn - and there isn't enough passing with Orzol out. 2. Julia is such an important personality on the floor. Less time on the floor is tricky. Half rotations don't have a dependable passer. 3. No serving specialists.

The RS and setter on the floor stay on and Wrobel stays on the bench. Not sure I'm understanding the question.

The way Parra’s demeanor is almost identical to Bricio’s lol Definitely a Mexican thing. Played in a league with some of them this summer, and the way they would look at me when I celebrated a big point...lol

TTA, Franklin, and GG passing, and Robinson playing BR defense for three rotations may not be a recipe for success in close match against a top team. Nothing we've seen this weekend suggests it will work.

Surprised by the lineup changes. I really liked last night's lineup.
Concerted effort to set Robinson and it paid off. Robinson was the stud of this match. Just dominant. Hitting over blocks, around blocks and with a lot of power. Pick your poison. What a joy it must be to set for this team knowing they always have 3-4 legit options every time. And TTA didn't even play.
Didn't set the middle as much as I wish they would. Hard to complain about the hitting but I think we are at our optimal best when the middles are getting set a good amount.
I had high expectations for Booth and I think she's actually better than I thought. Holy cow is she good.
Crawford is so underrated. She's such a good player. What a valuable asset. On almost any other team they would be talking about All American status. She will likely deserve it at the end of the season. So good at so many things.
Smrek is much improved with her RS hitting.
Our setters are both improved from last year. So much improvement from last year.

And TTA didn't even play. I bet TTA plays both matches at Arkansas while Ozrol at OH2 in one match and Frank at OH2 in the other. I’m not betting on Julia at Libero in either of those. The arms we have means we can give people a day off to keep everyone fresh. Spread the workload and prevent anyone from getting tired at the end of the season.
