I checked the forecast for rain - not sure 80 degrees with 60% humidity isn't worse. Better bring extra mops and towels. I saw nearly 90° 😳 Too bad it's not in a dome. What surface are they playing on? Slipping on a wet spot might be a real hazard.

They did a mockup earlier and had practice players play on it. The 18" platform that will hold the court and remove the crown in the field was strong enough but they decided to add another layer of decking to remove flex.

Seeing potential for poor air quality due to wildfire smoke starting tomorrow, continuing through the match.

Let it rest about Creighton. Such a shame Creighton won’t be going!🖕🏻 Actually I'm happy Creighton is not going! They play a week later in Devaney. A much better venue for this in-state rivalry game. PS Your finger looked dirty. Did you sit on it?

I'll never forget how horribly I underestimated the Nebraska heat in 2009 when I went to the CWS in Omaha...woof

Dumb question… football fields aren’t flat? ? ? They have a slight crown in the center and slope down toward the sidelines to assist with drainage.

Dumb question… football fields aren’t flat? ? ? From wiki article titled "American football field": "According to the high school rulebook recommendations, the field should be angled (or "crowned") at approximately 1.2° (rising 1⁄4 inch per foot, or 1 in 48) upward from each sideline to the center of the field so that the center is 20 inches (51 cm) higher than the sidelines, allowing proper drainage."The above quote references the high school rulebook, but the described "crown" is typical of most football fields. Dumb question… football fields aren’t flat? ? ? No, but they are flatter now than they were in the 1970's. In fact back in the days of Option Football it was said the if a person stood on the visiting team sideline they couldn't see any of the players or coaches on the Oklahoma side of the field.

Just saw a picture of the court in the stadium. It looks amazing.
