The field has a 9" crown from the center to the sideline. I can vouch that the crown used to be much steeper...back in the early 80s, if you stood on one side of the field and looked straight across to the other sideline, it appeared that most of the people on the other side had no legs below their knees.

I saw nearly 90° 😳 Too bad it's not in a dome. What surface are they playing on? Slipping on a wet spot might be a real hazard. They are using the Taraflex from Devaney. They are also adding an extra 10 feet of Taraflex around the perimeter of the entire court, so the playing area will be much larger than they're used to at The Bob. |

My only gripe is I wish this was a ranked match with Creighton or someone but Nebraska sure knows how to turn them out for their own. Change the state from Corn country to Volleyball Country.

I haven't seen a picture showing the new tunnel walk entrance yet. Last time I saw a picture of that progress, a week or two ago, it was still clearly very early in the build process.
Makes me wonder if the VB team will come out of the old entrance at the NW corner.
