All of these resources and eyeballs and a blow-out sweep like this is just simply not as entertaining as a 5 setter thriller against an equal opponent. No one is saying this is not incredible. No one is saying this isn't historic, but it would have been nice to see some higher level play LET ALONE just so the match could also last longer than an hour and half. Either way what a night for volleyball! Nebraska wanted to give the glory to its state schools, not the private school. It’s as simple as that. |

While I think this a great and exceptional event, couldn't Nebraska get Creighton so at least it's entertaining for the 80K+ viewers? Totally worried that most of people will walk away saying "That was SO boring". How is this different when the Huskers would play Directional State School and win 63-0 every week? If I'm not mistaken Omaha almost beat the Huskers in 2021, they were up 2-0. Caffey had to come of the bench and lead the Huskers to a reverse sweep. |

...orr was the one who wrote the note that cook keeps on quoting as well about how "tonight we will make the impossible possible". just shows how much it meant to every member of this team to be a part of.
i love nebraska vball but it's really messed up that not everyone got to play tonight. jerk move by the staff.
