she'll figure it out, i have no doubt about it. but this season is gonna be rough. really rough. Like, why did Arizona schedule Wisconsin? Just why? They played Texas a couple years ago. Nebraska a couple of years before that. Both years, those were some of their strongest matches. It's weird. But it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't thing. Dave took hell for scheduling weak many years. |

I’d say we did that pretty well this season, sans Wisconsin and Alabama State? also I’m pretty sure we try and play one HBCU every season. I don’t think a noncon full of RPI 50-150ish teams with one top team and one HBCU is a bad thing. we just frankly aren’t as good as we hoped we would be this season. Morse was a MASSIVE late loss and Wilson has been pretty terrible so far |

True, but in my opinion there was a general idea that the team wasn’t going to be this rough. Hodge and Sofia were supposed to make a jump. Jordan was/is supposed to be that third consistent pin. Becca was supposed to slide in for Hiapo. Emory and Hiapo transferring and Z graduating left a huge void that wasn’t replaced. |

It's all a chain reaction from the horrible passing. The setters aren't great, but Emery wasn't the best in the world, either. Two inexperienced setters trying to run down bad passes is going to lead to frustrated pins. This team looks worse than last year. Kamaile was the big loss and not having Morse to take her place has really made it tough.

I don’t think that’s harsh. I don’t understand why Rita is refusing to sub the pins out for a DS? If Hodge and Sofia were underclassmen I could see the argument, but neither of them have been consistent in serve receive or playing defense. Puk isn’t much better for that matter. If what Hodge said is true and this is their last year, idk why you wouldn’t want to give your younger littles some playing time and get them some experience. |

If what Hodge said is true and this is their last year, idk why you wouldn’t want to give your younger littles some playing time and get them some experience. Most of the younger littles won't be on road trips. They planned to travel 15 this week. The Pac-12 limit is 16. The littles who were there were Ava, Haven, Joy, Kenzie, and (I think) one more who is escaping me right now. I don't remember seeing Tess Fuqua, so I think they brought 5,but Rita said before the season that they planned to travel 4 littles. That stuff, if it happens, will have to happen at home. |
