Can't wait for the announcers to bring up the name Formico who is the cousin of KWJ. it would be weird for them to bring Formico up in any context, she graduated Rhey could easily find a way, don’t test them |

I can do it pretty easily. - "What a dig by Elia Rubin, now notice Rubin last year started all 6 rotations *as a freshman*. That is seriously impressive and in the age of substitutions where most programs would probably use a defensive specialist in the backrow, really speaks to how well-rounded of a volleyball player she is." - "You think back just a few years ago to those dominant National Championship Stanford teams and Kate Formico, who played a role." - "That's right. A cousin of four time Olympic medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings, I might add. Those are some serious volleyball genes" - "Haha" ...... "Kendall Kipp back to serve" |

Baird was warming up against Florida and looks like she was in playing attire at practice today, hopefully she's back by tomorrow but idk how much she missed or what to expect from her if she does play

Baird was warming up against Florida and looks like she was in playing attire at practice today, hopefully she's back by tomorrow but idk how much she missed or what to expect from her if she does play She wasn’t in a boot during media day so the injury must have been during first week practice, she should be ready to go well if the injury was during the first week of practice and the first time she was seen out of a boot was less than a week ago, I feel like she might not be 'ready to go' in the sense of actually playing well. I hope she plays great but this is a pretty tough first match back lol |

It doesn't help Stanford that this match starts at 9:30am Pacific time. Early starts always seem to slow them down. I know they've been in Austin for a few days; hopefully they have adjusted time zones.
