Fleck and Eggleston masked a lot of issues at Texas. They are not a top 10 team. I'd add SKT to this as well - she was cool, calm and collected and Swindle is a freshman still making connections with her hitters |

The passing is awful which has always been a Texas issue. Fleck just covered it up. |

Did not get to watch this game yet but I was following along with this thread and chile the way I already knew it was wenaas when y’all were mentioning that 2 handed push thing gagajal it’s like take a shot everytime she does it my god.
Also can’t wait for the game to be uploaded so I can see that third set. Y’all were so funny on here I have to see it haha

The sad thing is Wenaas is the scapegoat for what the coaching staff is instructing her to do. I refuse to believe the staff has instructed her to do that on 50% of her swings. she’s not even TRYING to score. the staff might have taught the two hand push, but there’s no way they wanted them to do it ever play. Madi and Devin are both swinging OOS where Jenna isn’t Average player, not bad not great. |

Madi has to be better. If she is going to be the go-to, 6ro OH, she has to be able to take out the trash a la eggleston or kipp

Also - it feels like last year’s national title push is coming back to bite Texas a little bit. Devin *feels* like the type of player who could swing hard OOS and be that go-to, but she def has not seen enough playing time to be there rn

So, her lack of playing time last season was due to her own choices and not getting the reps all summer 2022. Has nothing to do with Texas title push in 202. |
