She was beyond obnoxious gesticulating and verbalizing in a way that was taunting. It wasn't just for her team, it was for opponents. It was bush league at best and I hope she learns to carry herself with a little class and composure, and before you jump on me for the male versus female thing, I hate Djokovic for the same reason. lmao dear lord imagine letting any athlete have a sort of personality. nothing bekka did was egregious. if you want to see classless athletes, go watch Ebrar Karakurt. exactly. I love Bekka’s spunky, goofy, fun, and firey personality. I didn’t see anything egregious directed at Stanford. If so, then please provide examples.

I voted for a Husker sweep but changed to Corn in 4 to be generous, guess I made the right decision 😉

Wait what did Allick do lmao She was beyond obnoxious gesticulating and verbalizing in a way that was taunting. It wasn't just for her team, it was for opponents. Classless , bush league and lack of composure would be a pretty gross exaggeration. I get that it’s personal taste, some would call her actions fun, intense……… but bush league, classless, no composure is way over the top.

People act like there is something wrong with what our players do simply bc of the name on front of their jerseys. No one seemed to have an issue when Rettke, Robinson, Eggelston or whoever else would give staredowns or celebrate through the net lmao

People so thirsty to detract from Nebraska's big win. Sad. it was a great win, for sure. Some exuberance, even if arguably excessive, was to be expected.
The broader implications remain unknown at this time. I used to run marathons when I was much younger. I found that the best strategy for me was to run point to point, usually defined by one water station to the next. It didn't pay to get too high or too low during the run; just get to the next interim goal and move on. Nebraska did that. Stanford cramped up.
The last 6 miles of the marathon were the toughest. The tank is getting low, injuries can derail the run. The BIG season will be the same. There's a lot of the race yet to be run. Let's get it going and see who finishes strong.

Its only “classless” when its a team you dont like doing it lol

Maybe she should have drawn some nasty comments and disturbing pictures on a whiteboard and let all the reporters see it and take pictures of it… but, she’s not mentally I’ll, so she didn’t do that… she just committed the crime of being happy… guilty. Been holding onto that since 2018, eh? If you're looking for nasty, disturbing behavior, look no further than your head coach & it trickles down from there.

he literally said he wasn’t a Texas fan in the last paragraph I literally missed it because the post was too long and the conceptual basis for it showed a lack of understanding of setter skills. Lol. Tell us what you really think!

Definitely. I just subjectively don’t see the “it” factor that everyone else does with her setting skill. I see it with her competitiveness and athleticism in general. Her all around game is good. I would actually love to be convinced otherwise on this. As I said, watching Miner play, she has that fire and she just wills plays to happen. Sort of like Kendra Wait, who also has location issues with her sets at times (and who I think Miner obviously outperforms so not making a comparison there either). But going on my previous post— USANT needs someone like that, and I’d be thrilled if it’s Miner and if she wins that role in the future. I just have yet to see a match where I’m blown away by her level of play or by the sets and decisions she is making. Some of that could also be a product of availability of the matches. I only see the big ones that are available on the platforms where I subscribe. I rarely watched her last year. So I’m not pretending to be an expert here at all. But an example- I don’t think SKT got nearly as much hype as miner did and does, and in my mind she played more consistently in her setting than Miner does. I hate even saying that bc not a Texas fan here lol but just one example. You're a Texas fan, no? SKT is nowhere near the level of Miner. Like, it's not close. Blocking, placement, speed of offense, isolating hitters...Miner is making some good (and one great) offense players better. SKT didn't elevate anyone's game...she allowed incredible offensive players to shine. No not a Texas fan at all. And maybe that’s the difference in what I saw last night- stanfords offense wasn’t firing on all cylinders, and perhaps I am placing too much blame on Miner for that. 🤷🏻♀️

Yet, Krause hitting better % than Beason on season before tonight. BS, that Krause gets the hitting error and attempt trying to save with her left hand Murray’s bump set directly into the antenna. That.091 turns into .143 just off that one play. Still an off night. Add Stanford to your list of teams to beat to get to the National Championship Pretty sure nobody needs to add Stanford to their list of teams to beat. They are 9-1 in sets against top 15 teams they beat, 2 of which were top 10. lol wtf do you mean no one needs to add them to their list? Their 2 losses are to top 4 teams. That isn't exactly room to disregard them. Bashing them only diminishes Nebraska's win, which was 94-85 in total points. The difference being the 2nd set. I have no idea why everyone thinks they can just write Stanford off. Their schedule has been a gauntlet compared to Nebraska's at this point. They're clearly still working on Francis' slide, Rubin doesn't hit -.200 every game... Let's just give Nebraska credit. The freshmen showed up. There's no reason to diminish Stanford's capabilities..

wtf do you mean no one needs to add them to their list? Seems like no one would need to add Stanford to their list because Stanford would already be on their list. Likely very near the top.

The "shouting" part of these megathreads can get so weird.
As in, "It's all over but the shouting."
