I usually watch way more international volleyball than the NCAA, but this season I've been able to follow at least the matches of the TOP6 (Wisconsin, Louisville, Florida, Nebraska, Stanford, Texas). My 2 biggest takeaways: - I have the impression that no setter runs her offense with a pace anywhere close to the rhythm that Bergen Rilley manages to impose on hers. Hannah Pukis of Oregon. Shaffmaster at Minnesota (sometimes) Pukis is a great example. Probably a much better one than the SKT example I gave earlier.

The "shouting" part of these megathreads can get so weird. As in, "It's all over but the shouting." Its my guilty pleasure

lmao dear lord imagine letting any athlete have a sort of personality. nothing bekka did was egregious. if you want to see classless athletes, go watch Ebrar Karakurt. exactly. I love Bekka’s spunky, goofy, fun, and firey personality. I didn’t see anything egregious directed at Stanford. If so, then please provide examples. I’m actually curious on this. I didn’t notice anything that stood out. Can someone provide some time stamps of what was considered so bad about her behavior last night?

To add - it was mention multiple times how Rubin stared down Andi after a stuff. Which also wasn't a big deal. x.com/CoachAshby2/status/1701790801515200880?s=20

They are 9-1 in sets against top 15 teams they beat, 2 of which were top 10. lol wtf do you mean no one needs to add them to their list? Their 2 losses are to top 4 teams. That isn't exactly room to disregard them. Bashing them only diminishes Nebraska's win, which was 94-85 in total points. The difference being the 2nd set. I have no idea why everyone thinks they can just write Stanford off. Their schedule has been a gauntlet compared to Nebraska's at this point. They're clearly still working on Francis' slide, Rubin doesn't hit -.200 every game... Let's just give Nebraska credit. The freshmen showed up. There's no reason to diminish Stanford's capabilities.. Umm, maybe because they were already on everyone’s list because they’re great??? lol i definitely misunderstood. I thought you were saying they weren't relevant at all. APOLOGIES =)

She was beyond obnoxious gesticulating and verbalizing in a way that was taunting. It wasn't just for her team, it was for opponents. It was bush league at best and I hope she learns to carry herself with a little class and composure, and before you jump on me for the male versus female thing, I hate Djokovic for the same reason. lmao dear lord imagine letting any athlete have a sort of personality. nothing bekka did was egregious. if you want to see classless athletes, go watch Ebrar Karakurt. lmao if i had an athlete disrespecting athletes across the field, net or anywhere, they'd se the bench. Now, your opinion is just that, but there were more than a few people in my house and online who thought it was disrespectful.

People act like there is something wrong with what our players do simply bc of the name on front of their jerseys. No one seemed to have an issue when Rettke, Robinson, Eggelston or whoever else would give staredowns or celebrate through the net lmao I couldn't care less it's NE. Seems with this team you might be able to move past your inferiority (Complex).

I don't think anyone is diminishing Stanford's capabilities here. Also pretty sure that gibbyb1 wasn't being snarking, and merely stating that nearly everyone in the country has Stanford on their list of teams to beat. In this case, I think you read too much into his one sentence.
