Don't forget this side of Bekka Allick. I looked for the video that had the little girl speaking to the crowd, saying something like "it's my dream to meet Bekka Allick" and then Bekka came rushing over. BUT SHE SHOWED EMOTION IN A GAME?? HOW DARE SHE?? HOW DARE BLACK WOMEN?? wOMP

All these folks up in arms about BA's antics. Almost as if she drew a picture of the Stanford players on a grease board with a gun pointed at them. But I digress... Not black and white And Carlini is a false equivalency. Like not even close to ADD BA Yes she is…. But you’re too blind to see it. Carlini for lack of better word could be an ass to opposing teams and her own team. But it’s because she’s insanely competitive. It’s not a bad thing for Allick nor is it for Carlini

I was literally so stupid until I was like 26 so even if something BA does is in some way inappropriate*, ok she's a teenager shocking news bye. * It isn't.

YES! Twirl Queen Twirl! I woke up this morning and saw the score on Instagram and was like no way! Got up with a big smile indeed! And reading through these 100+ pages gave me chills at times. Can't wait to check the game on YT for all those Lexi and Laney moments. (And Bekka's celebrations lol) Now let's get this discussion to 161 pages cause we have to beat every single Texas thread too!

Talking about the finger pump after the block in the 4th set (17-15 Neb lead). Not much to see here. Big block at a big time in the 4th set (even though Stanford was in the net and it wasn't called). kind of looks across the net as she is walking to her teammates and does a quick fist pump. Stanford players didn't even see it as it was quick and just not an issue. Didn't stand and stare just a quick show of emotion. I think this post is more frustration about the match VS anything else. Alick with 8 blocks in the match, 7 kills, enough to get fired up about. Dude. Didn't care about outcome except that by NE winning, WI's beating them again would be a nice boost. I will be rooting for Wisconsin and Stanford this weekend against Florida and Louisville. A B1G boost and Louisville downgrade in RPI is all good at this point. I'll worry about Wisconsin on 10/21 and 11/24 until then there are a bunch of other matches for the Huskers to play every one of them important starting with Kentucky on Sunday.

It’s not a bad thing for Allick nor is it for Carlini I don't want to step on anybody's fun, but Wisconsin's greatest player, as measured by the team achievements during her tenure, as well as her own, was taller than Carlini and not as abrasive.

This match I'm going to remember for a while as "the OOOOH and AHHHH and OHHHHH! match". The crowd reactions on replay I realized echoed mine. The athleticism and competition on display is really undeniable and the sounds heard during the game were entertaining. Maybe because it wasn't a packed house but the sounds seemed just a little more crisp than normal. Felt like if your cousin Dan was there you could probably hear him if you listened closely enough.

That's quite a silly stance to take. Just because Stanford lost to Nebraska with Baird, does not mean that Baird could not be a game-changing factor in a different match. If Stanford had won last night, that wouldn't mean that they would have beaten Florida with Baird either. It's just one of those things that will not be known until there's a rematch, hopefully in a final 4? some argued that Stanford was the best team despite their sweep by Florida because Baird didn’t play. Madden correctly pointed out that Baird could not have played that much better than her replacement who hit over .300. The silly point is to argue that Baird would necessarily elevate the level of the team to an extent that would change the outcome of the Florida game. She did score 17 as you accurately pointed out, but it didn’t elevate the level of play of the team, not to mention Baird herself is fully capable of bad games. The bottom line is that Stanford was not the best team in ncaa this year before or after the Florida game with or without Baird. As many people have pointed out, the total effect of a player is not defined by one statistical category. If you disagree somehow, let me know and I can elaborate. You cannot judge 'level of play' based on winning/losing against two different opponents. You're right, sometimes she has bad games. Last year against Texas she hit .061 with 3kps. Against UCLA she hit .485 with 6 kps. Who's to say the Baird vs Florida wouldn't have been the .485 version? The bottom line is that Stanford is not the best team in NCAA right now, but the match against Florida is not the deciding factor in that determination.

No way, Bekka did "strike a pose," instant rejection for that.
