This match I'm going to remember for a while as "the OOOOH and AHHHH and OHHHHH! match". The crowd reactions on replay I realized echoed mine. The athleticism and competition on display is really undeniable and the sounds heard during the game were entertaining. Maybe because it wasn't a packed house but the sounds seemed just a little more crisp than normal. Felt like if your cousin Dan was there you could probably hear him if you listened closely enough. I agree, the crowds ohhhs and ahhhs were very entertaining to hear.

Can we talk less about Wisconsin and more about Harper hitting .417 against Stanford bc….. She’s the best OH I’ve seen all year. She’s consistent in both the front and back row. There is not one single team she doesn’t start on and there is maybe one or two she’s not the GO to player on.

Not too shabby for a freshman!

Don't forget this side of Bekka Allick. I looked for the video that had the little girl speaking to the crowd, saying something like "it's my dream to meet Bekka Allick" and then Bekka came rushing over. Here it is.

Debate all you want about who was better at what position last night. They were all good. Sportscenter top 10 plays of the day, #5, I think was a good example of why Nebraska won, they were just a little bit better on most points. Stanford block to the back line, ridiculous save by Choboy to keep it off the ground, and even more ridiculous save by Lexi to keep it off the ground (how she changed direction that quick was Lexi being Lexi), free ball to Stanford, unforced error overpass by Standord, Nebraska spike off the Stanford block into the net to win the point. It was Nebraska's night for once. Hasn't been that way VS Stanford or Wisconsin for a long time. Wins Nebraska the opportunity to be seeded higher come tournament time if they continue to play well. Long way to go, expect both teams will make a play for a top 4 seed by the time it's over. I am thankful the volleyball coaches play matches like this one early in the year. Thanks for the head's up regarding SC Top 10. I especially loved Andi Jackson's cheerleading on the sideline. The rest of her teammates are calmly watching, while she is emphatically jumping up and down. Her enthusiasm and exuberance is contagious. In the replay I can also unfortunately see my own cringing at Baird's ridiculous unforced overpass.

No way, Bekka did "strike a pose," instant rejection for that. Now I kinda want a Texas middle and outside to do that after blocking Nebraska. Just to see the conniption fit.

Some announcer (not recalling who) said she had watched a recent practice and coaches had her run a particular drill over and over again—apparently her smile and enthusiasm never wavered. We love to see it!

I was literally so stupid until I was like 26 so even if something BA does is in some way inappropriate*, ok she's a teenager shocking news bye. * It isn't. When I was on the court back in the day, the opponent was spitting on us through the net. So let the girl celebrate! Even if it includes a little staredown and some ninja moves.

Honestly, she's just happy she's getting set. It's been a long time since Husker middles got double digit attempts in a match. Don't yuck her yum.
