Really looking forward to this game. I can't say enough about Neb's Freshmen, just so confident and ready for anything. Krause stepping up her game as well. Bekka and Andi already in the top 17 NCAA blocking category, and we have Lexi and Laney for backrow defense. Bergen Reilly's setting has been stellar, and we just might have a chance. Can the Card get enough through our block to win? I'm just not sure.

This will be a rare moment where I will sit back and enjoy the game. Little pressure and lots of room for growth in this one game. Can’t wait!!

Stanford has a 5 match win streak over Nebraska. Hope they keep sending their serves all the way to texas ftfy I remember last year they had a ridiculous amount of service errors, saved us from being swept I think lol

Welcome to Stanford ... If I didn't know that was Stanford I would have thought it was just another farm in Nebraska.

Welcome to Stanford ... OMG ... JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! And the free throw lanes on the court give it that throw-back HS look.

I'm obviously rooting for Nebraska but if we get a competitive 5 setter I'll be happy either way.
I think it's asking a lot of this young team to beat Stanford at this point in time.
That said, I'll be cheering for Andi to fire some rockets!

Really looking forward to this match. I'm anxious to see how the youth of Nebraska hold up against the veteran-led Stanford team. IMO, Beason/Allick need big nights in order to lead the way for Nebraska. Seem pretty fair matched, but a road test with such youth can bring out a different team, whether it be for the good or the bad.
Regardless, good match for mid September. Much respect to the Stanford program always.

This will be a rare moment where I will sit back and enjoy the game. Little pressure and lots of room for growth in this one game. Can’t wait!! Yeah, that's what worries me. The last time Stanford was at home against a team with some young but very talented players was... 2 weeks ago. If they want to host a regional and compete for the national title, this is a match they need to win, whereas Nebraska can just go out and play and not worry too much about the results. The pressure is on Stanford. We'll see if they can withstand it. In the past, they haven't always been able to (see San Diego last year).

Memorial Church (center of hammer's pic) is beautiful too. If you're visiting, I'd recommend dropping in for at least a few minutes to see it. Visiting hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am - 4pm, and Friday, 9am - 1pm, and weekly docent-led tours are offered on Fridays at 11am (except during services, commencement, university holidays, and winter closure). Regular programs such as lectures, labyrinth walks, and concerts are open to the public on weekdays
