Yes? I don’t understand. But you’re right. Nebraska does have an excellent libero. That is true.

What set will Formico be brought up and her relationship with KWJ by the announcing crew?

Also, starting time is 6PM, which doesn't give 9-to-5ers much time to get there. And of course it is on ESPN. No issue for me as I'll just shoot down Foothill Expressway in the reverse commute direction and be there in plenty of time for Hambly's chalk talk. I lived on Foothill back in the day. I miss the old Andronico's.

Also, starting time is 6PM, which doesn't give 9-to-5ers much time to get there. And of course it is on ESPN. Between no students being on campus, Tuesday being a big night for HS girls to all have matches of their own, easy access on live TV (or DVR), and the early start time, yeah -- I fear it'll end up much closer to 2,003 people than 92,003. Saying that, it should be a terrific match to watch for all the reasons already mentioned. Seriously who cares if there is 1000 people or 25,000. This is in California. People have better things to do than spend one hour in the freeway to watch live volleyball. You go home turn on ESPN. Hadinner. Wala !

Speaking of ESPN - over/under 550,000 for viewers for the game?
I take the over one this one.
For reference, the Nebraska/Omaha match at Memorial Stadium two weeks ago attracted 518,000 viewers for the game on the Big Ten Network

I took Stanford in five. The talent, experience and size is formidable. Especially on the road for Nebraska. You know more about Stanford and they will be more comfortable in pressure situations. I think they win the first touches battle. Which favors highly competitive teams.
Nebraska finds out more about themselves after this particular match. I do think the youth of Nebraska, barring injury, will make Nebraska the team that improves the most in the next three months. This is why you go to schools who annually compete for national championships. Matches such as these with Stanford being more comfortable tomorrow night.

With Nebraska being my adopted B1G team this season (due to a bad/boring Illinois team), this is a match i’ve been looking forward to.
Does Stanford have a more seasoned group of vets who also came in highly touted? Yes
But Nebraska’s young guns have some swagger to them and a lot of international experience (and success) - so this shouldn’t be that far out of reach. Plus, Hambly and Cook have gone toe to toe a number of times and if i’m not mistaken, Cook has Hambly’s number.
Should be a fun one - just hoping for 3+ sets to keep things interesting!

Obviously I want the Huskers to win but I would be very pleased if we take a set (or 3!)

This will be a good test for Nebraska. I think Stanford takes it but hope both play well.

Two strong serve, pass, blocking and floor defense teams with fire power up front. Stanford's experience should give them the edge in serving, blocking and hitting. Slight edge to Stanford. Should be close sets.
