If Creighton plays as well as the Big East's other top club, Marquette, we are going to have to play a lot better to win on Saturday. Wisconsin notched 20 kills on 41 swings from Smrek & Crawford, WI's MBs. You can be sure Creighton will not be serving at Murr. I watched them taking extensive notes in a corner of the West end. I don't know what MN was doing in the first set. HP won with only 10 kills. 5 MN SEs MN aced 5x HP had 2 blocks MN had 3 hitting errors. I just hope our stud, Norah Sis, is back. Others have stepped up in her absence, but it is difficult to account for her if she's back.

KBB mentioned they do not want to take any risks with her health Creighton's serving needs to be more effective if they want to beat Minnesota... The standing float serves that Wait, Reinhardt, and Remmes do will not force any of their receivers to have to move... and thats not a path to winning.

Smrek and Robinson are RS and Booth and Crawford are MB.

Also that ball from Murr looked just fine to me… I was at a bar watching on my phone, what happened on this play? I couldn't hear the call?

Also that ball from Murr looked just fine to me… I was at a bar watching on my phone, what happened on this play? I couldn't hear the call? It was a broken play, Wucherer saved a ball from going into the scorer's table, then Murr bumped over the 3rd contact from the deep left-back corner of the court (she was just outside the camera frame on the stream). The ball cleared the net into High Point's zone 1 (right back) and was played. The line judge flagged the play for the ball going over or outside the antenna. The ball must cross the net inside the antenna. The call was made and point awarded to High Point. It looked good from the video I was watching, however, the call was challenged and upheld, so the point stayed with High Point.

Ref called a back row attack against Murr Her foot was on the attack line when she passed the ball to Shaff who went over on 2
I’ve never seen it called and didn’t know that was a fault The color announcer on B1G+ knew about this infraction
I dunno but guess that if Shaff didn’t attack but just popped it over that the play would have been legal

However, if she, as the Libero, set overhead with fingers, then the ball cannot be sent over with an attack. It’s a rule that applies specifically to the Libero.

Essentially, it prevents the Libero from being used as a Setter by enterprising coaches.
