5-2, MJ was in the front row to hit. Fascinating. They weren't short on subs based on the score, right?

(I'm kind of thinking out loud as I type) they were at a normal count of 6 the first time around to Izzy serving. Then did the subs of Reed and Damrow, and had Izzy coming back on a second time. I don't think Damrow and Reed had come off yet, but when they would have, it would put the at 14, so Izzy coming back on would have been 15. They didn't actually use 15, but they would have if things had gone badly and they neeeded to get Reed and Damrow off. (I think).

Arias over the phone
Devyn: Thought the block was much better. Much more positive. They've been working hard on it.
Sheff: "How's the football team doing?" Re TTA: Said to the bench, "watch this. She's gonna get an ace!" and she did. Orzol is serving with a lot more pace, flat and clean. Errors going up a bit more, but passing numbers against her are also dropping. Happy with the attendance records they are setting for away matches. Passed really well. Defensively fantastic. This week able to put two good practices in a row. It showed in defense. Practice time has been limited by travel schedule and the length of the matches.

NW has some decent players - Chinn, Rousseau, Dodson. They shouldn't be that bad.

Watching Nebraska for the first time this year and the hand wringing on this site is well justified. I’ve watched every Wisconsin game this season and Nebraska’s passing and defensive superiority was evident within the first few minutes. Choboy and Rodriguez are amazing, doing things the Wisconsin back row couldn’t dream of. Reilly is standing in the setters box dishing to whomever she wants whenever she wants. So many opportunities to set the middles. Hope I’m wrong but Nebraska looks like a way better team.
