I think this is a match where both teams are saying they have to beat this team if we're going to have a good year. Going to be a lot of these across the league this year, I think.

Not reading the thread, since I started late and don't want spoilers.
But I have to say, why can't the B1G get play-by-play commentators that know the sport? In the first few points, he called a net violation a double hit, said hitting the antenna was good defense, and called a joust a block.
A sad part about the PAC going away is that their volleyball had great camera work and commentators. The B1G needs upgrades. Is the new Illini volleyball location (with air conditioning) still happening?

You have to listen to the commentators as entertainment, not as though they know anything about the game, although the woman color commentator seems to know something. She doesn’t talk enough and he talks too much. If she had a sock to put into the play by play guy’s mouth it would help.

Nunge may be hitting negative, but at least she is swinging away. I’m ok with this. The hits will start to fall, she has demonstrated in the past she can put the ball on the floor. If she never swings hard she will not get back to where she was.
