Hope they can get a sweep of THE Ohio State as well as Michigan....don't want any more five setters when anything can happen, and there have already been some upsets of ranked teams this year though they've had their share against such already (thinking back didn't they lose at Maryland Rettke's senior year?)
In the words of men's b ball coach Greg Gard you have to "throw out records" during conference play, though those transfer pickups have been huge so far and you could have another starting squad in their bench that would be over .500 if they started elsewhere together....

Well with Ohio State losing so many seniors it was bound to be a tough year. And even though they lost seven straight, all of them were to ranked teams a brutal schedule considering all the freshman. If the Badgers play to their strengths they should be able to take care of the win in 3 sets. If the Buckeyes are defeated as expected this will be the L that will knock them from the Top 25. I mean a 4 win 8 loss team does not deserve that high of a ranking. It looks like a schedule devised thinking some of the super seniors would stay, but it didn't work out that way (not meant as a shot in any way), so really tough on a young team. Not taking anything for granted as a Badger fan. I will be happy with any win without an injury. |

You have to Know how this one turns out. It’s not going to be a cliffhanger. I don't know. There is such a history of surprises between these two squads during Sheffield's tenure in Madison. I wouldn't put it past them to put up a serious fight. That said, they are facing a tall order now that Egan broke her foot. |

Badgers have won 20 straight regular season B1G matches matches (21 if you include PSU during regionals)
Tied for 2nd best start in history with 2010 (best was the Covid year)
Sheffield
View of last week: Serve and Pass and D was much better last week. Indiana has a lot of different types of servers. Credits Brittany and Annemarie.
Thoughts on DI committee top 10: "It's a dream come Jon (laughs)." Likes the idea of having another ranking reveal - it's great for the game. "Let fanbases attack each other!" Doesn't mean much to the team.
OSU: Young team with a few standout senior players still finding themselves. Those two are legit bigtime.
Dildine
Last week: Passing was great. Passers getting used to who is passing next to them. Best Indiana server didn't get an ace and scored 1 point on serve all match.
OSU schedule: The 8th straight match against ranked teams. Expect that OSU will not be afraid. Has played few games at home. Historically tough matchup for badgers.
Londot now on Left. Expects they will see buckeyes do something different than they saw on film.
Recruited a number of the freshman. They are good players. They will get better.
