Glad Hambly gave Blyashov a chance - she passed really well in those 3/4 serve receives. I think sometimes we just have to be realistic - if Baird has a terrible match (which is happening more often recently), Hambly has two top OH recruits in Blyashov and Harvey that are both waiting in the bench. I liked that move today. But, I think Hambly has shown that he is a coach that really likes to stick with his main squad. I like that he used some of the few easier pre-conference matches to get those two some playing time. It was not all roses though. I'm sure valuable lessons were learned. But, I really wonder how much he is willing to trust either of them this season in clutch situations unless someone is injured. We'll see. I think Harvey deserves some time but without a DS on the floor she can be a passing liability

We will be needing both next year (and Kurt) after the departure of Kipp and Baird. Lucky for us as 75% of passing unit will still be around - Rubin and Oglivie.
