This is a toss up. Both have been losing matches, but more surprisingly UCLA has not been playing well at all. CAL has played well, but just not able to get past the solid Washington teams. CAL will have the edge unless UCLA finds the level they had weeks ago.

I picked UCLA 3-2. Really hoping both teams play to their full potential. A couple of the players used to play club together- so maybe that will get the competitive fire going!

Ndiaye not a player to watch ? ๐ค๐ค๐ค I rely a lot on the last week's matches. It generally has at least a few different players each week. I try not to use the same players and change at least one or two from my prior match thread. I think it's boring to always use the same players and leads to ppl overlooking key team members. So no, based on last week's matches, she is not (compared to others). But she may be a key player in this match. We'll see. |

Looks like Bruins made some lineup decisions . . . Pak at Setter . . . Dueck at Libero . . . Using Tufono and Lutz at DS . . .
Will be curious to see how the Pak/hitter connections improve rest of season if she continues getting first team reps . . .

Considering Cal beat UofA and went 5 with UT and ASU and UCLA won only 1 set against those teams, Iโm surprised at how this match is going . . .
