What are the rules for international eligility in volleyball? In soccer, they’re very loose until someone is “cap-tied” by appearing for the senior team. I ask because Smrek has improved so much and today she’s serving some—I wonder about her ability to play international [edit—for the USA someday]
Unless she applies for an US passport.

I was asking how flexible or inflexible the rules are. About 75% of the US men’s soccer team are not from America and many young America players play for their parents country or their grandparents country or the con try where they live and play club. I also remember a VB player playing international for Canada several years ago and then playing for the US for beach. I also don’t know if Anna has appeared for the Canadian senior team. |
