Does anyone care about the Turkish league? I'm currently watching the Halkbank (Micah Ma'a) vs Ziraat Bankaart (Matt Anderson) match. I enjoy the Turkish League. I went to a match last year when I was in Istanbul Same.. really solid stuff right now |

I went to a match last year when I was in Istanbul Same.. really solid stuff right now Fun to watch Ngapeth and Nimir on the same team. That has to be fun for Micah. Although, Nimir just got pulled because he was getting blocked off the court... Edit: Nimir goes back in and immediately gets blocked again. Oy. |

I didn't realize the Turkish league was improving ... they have money for foreign players apparently. Ngapeth and Anderson are not cheap.

I didn't realize the Turkish league was improving ... they have money for foreign players apparently. Ngapeth and Anderson are not cheap. It is a good, solid level of play. I had a friend that played for Fenerbahce last year and really enjoyed it, they were paid well and treated really well. The league seem willing to pay money for big names and it's helping both the level of their league and the level of their National Team. |

Ziraat takes the match 3-1. Guessing Anderson is probably MVP, but not waiting for the announcement.
