For those interested: Sbertoli is back to playing front row for Trentino against Milano.
I mean, I'm not watching. Because, you know, I'm done with Milano. Like, I'm not even sneak watching. On multiview. Nope! Not me.

A friend of a friend's sister's cousin's old math teacher told me
MILANO WINS 3-2!
22-20 in the 5th set as Porro blocks Rychlicki from the left side!
... I mean, that's what I heard. I didn't watch.

Saint Nazaire with Isaacson, Ewert, and Ensing makes the finals of the French league after beating Tourcoing. They were the 7th seed after the regular season.
Chaumont were upset by Tours in the semifinals.
Max Holt and Beijing lost to Shanghai (Atanasijevic and Kubiak) in the finals.
Ma'a and Halkbank finally win the Turkish league after falling short the last five years.
Greg Petty, Troy Gooch, and Kofi win the Finnish Mesatruusliiga with Hurrikaani Loimaa.
Tim McIntosh and Hypo Tirol won the Austrian league.
Berlin is in the finals. They fell 0-2 to VfB, which was what happened in 2021. They took the third match yesterday.
Averill and Warsaw lost to Zawiercie in the semis.
DeFalco and Resovia were up 21-16 in the fourth set against JW. They were then up 23-21, and had a few match points. They ended up dropping the set and the match. Unfortunately Defalco had some costly errors late in the fourth and fifth sets.
Christenson and Kazan are in the finals against Moscow.

idk if there's a VNL thread, but my twitter timeline is confused to Sani being called up by Italy basil usually handles the VNL thread but I'm pretty sure they've been busy with life and making sure Karch doesn't f$%# up Hot Skinner Summer. I think we're all very confused about the Sani situation? It's been an on-going discussion throughout the season. He's of Italian descent but he played for the USA Junior NT. More than once! So... umm... IDK.

So... umm... IDK. Yea, I was just reading through all of that now. He played for the senior team, which makes it weirder... because it sounds like FIVB is recognizing that USA shouldn't have been his federation of origin (so by making it italy, he doesnt have to sit out)... But it looks like their argument might stem from here where he started to play in Trento.

So... umm... IDK. I was just looking for that and also seeing the Italian wide roster. I could spin something up, but it would be quite spartan compared to what @basil would produce. All to say, Sani's nationality is a bit confusing to me. I know he played for Verona as a non-foreigner, but I don't know what the rules on patriation or repatriation are.
