I'm thinking of running 8 miles today and then once at the destination, grabbing a bite to eat for lunch, and then taking the bus back home. I've never done this before but it sounds fun. I have to map it out on Google so I get my 8 miles and my destination has enough good dining options. Sounds fun. I don’t get to 8 miles any more but I do get to dining options. |

NBA season starts tonight, baseball is about to start World Series, football in full swing, Premier League/Champions League happening, lots of college volleyball on TV...this is like the best sports overlap time of the year and I'm 100% here for it. My wife, not so much (except for the volleyball).

I am thinking whats the best way to make a nice steak... I don't think you can go wrong with steak. However, this is how I like to make my steak: 1. Pound it like crazy with a meat pounder. In a pinch, a brick will do if you've got one lying around. (Use a saran wrap around the steak or you might have to clean up the mess because some steaks will splatter (surprisingly).) 2. Marinate it in your favorite sauce. At the very least, the marinating sauce should include soy sauce, garlic, oil (olive oil or sesame seed oil) and various spices (black pepper at least). Experiment with your sauce ingredients till you find one you like. Go crazy! 3. Grill till there's only a hint of red in the middle. Don't overcook the damn thing! |
