Yikes, I guess I'm still not fully functioning after the roller coaster ride last night.
cornfarmer, Izzy is timed out [5th year grad student] and MJ is leaving to pursue her educational goals - nurse practitioner. The Badger have Charlie Fuerbringer, the consensus #1 setter, coming in next year. We're expecting a return to the 5-1.
thanks for the info! Are there scholarship spots for the players that might want to return? (I hate speculating about who is and is not on scholarship, etc. Somebody else will have to take that one.)

Watching this live it would have been hard to see. Knowing what to look for, Crawford was Charlie Tuna in the net.

Ok. I see we don't have a lot of fans of tennis or irony on this thread. . . I got it. Shades of Vitas Gutulaitus. But that was a really long time ago. I think the irony stands on its own, even without historic attribution? IDK might just be me

To be fair I think they were referring to the 30 set win steak. Wisconsin fans care very much that they’ve completely owned Nebraska for the past 6 years until this game. Yes. That's exactly what the meme was getting at. The 30-set win streak. Ya know what, I looked back at the original meme posted by avid 2.0 , and it did not seem clear which streak it was referencing. My bad. Sorry, radioactiveman.

Congrats huskers. You hit more than 80 points beneath the badgers. You got a lower SO% and and lower P%. And a bad call on a touch in the first set. But you deserved a win based on the rules. Congrats. Good luck! oh he big mad 😂😂😂 what an embarrassing post Yeah. That doesn’t come off well. I apologize about that to husker fans. It was supposed to be in response to a few annoying posts by typical posters degrading the badgers performance based on number of kills in a match in which the badgers had 18 blocks. I mean it’s math, so I came back with some math to show the badgers had by some measures played better. But the context was lost and it came off as too much of a broadside. I guess I’m just so tired of the discourse left over from last year that the badgers are a pretender, and nowhere as good as the huskers or Stanford (insert favorite 5-1 team here) because they can’t pass, didn’t play anybody, play this damnable system, with transfers, blah blah blah. I’m watching them and I can see that narrative is clearly wrong. I’m still hearing that narrative from some badger fans today. I should probably redirect my sarcasm toward that audience now.

GM 1- tied at 4-4. Nebraska gets a mix of luck, missed touch, and TTA being a wimp three times, and that's the match and the sweep for Wisconsin. No timeouts on that uncanny 5-point run by Sheff? ... But yeah, that was the reason Wisconsin didn't walk out to the BOB 3-0.

Can a Wisconsin fan elaborate on which players are eligible to return in 2024?
For Husker fans… does Beason have one or two years left after this one?
The Covid year really messed things up.

For badgers, Ashburn and TTA are done after this year. Hammill doesn’t look like she’s taking her Covid year so she can study to be a nurse practitioner. Boyer and McCaa are also done. I think that’s it.

It was 24-26 in the 4th and 13-15 in the 5th. AT DEVANEY. And I can’t imagine what the block I saw from the badgers last night would do to Stanford. And I thought Orzol was phenomenal and I was very impressed by Franklin in the backrow so idk where those comments come from either… Don’t forget, everyone hates a winner. And pressure is a privilege 😁 I would be surprised to see the Badgers not make it to Tampa.

Beason only has one season left after this one. Only players that were on roster during fall 2020 are eligible for the bonus covid year. Beason's NCAA career started in Fall 2021 so she's only got the normal four years.
