Tuman serves short to force Temi to pass. The entire Field House holds its breath, but she dimes it. Izzy feeds it to Frank on the pipe, and she just destroys it.

If the badgers can get that swing on the BIC going, that will be massive.

Emily Ehman saying this years WIsconsin vs. Nebraska match has a different feel. Seems funny to me. Last year, Nebraska came into the Field House newly ranked number one and not even dropping sets. I do not see how it is much different.

I’ve been trying really hard not to be negative this season and just accept that we have issues and growing pains but this passing needs fixing and I don’t think it’ll be fixed with the personnel we currently have on the team. JFO has to try and find a libero in the transfer portal. I think Hoffman is fine and might have potential to be good, but I just don't want to watch another year of Sydney Taylor being flat footed in the back row and even when she gets to them, not keeping them alive enough for this level. Losing Egan really hurt since she was going to play 6 rotations and may have been the best passer on the team in her limited time. The frustrating part for me was putting together that murderous schedule, which is probably going to cost them the tournament this year. I really thought JFO had elevated the floor of the program after Geoff, but this feels more like his time in charge right now. I still believe Hoffman would make a great DS next to a libero, maybe eventually she can grow into a starting lib but she’s inconsistent which could be something that gets fixed with more experience. JFO definitely didn’t handle scheduling and roster management well and it’s going to cost us a tournament spot. I was never sold on the whole “We felt we weren’t ready for B1G competition because we didn’t play a strong non-conference” thing but even if that was true, those were still too brutal back to back schedules and don’t leave any margin for error which was fine when we had the team we had last year but when you’re rolling out basically a brand new team, that’s just too much to handle. Hopefully it’s a learning experience for her. I believe she’s a great coach and players truly love to play for her and I love how she carries herself and represents the program. So I truly hope this season will be something we look back at as an anomaly.

i’m sorry did anyone rlly think this was a trap match (pls buckeye fans don’t attack me i mean no harm) OSU fans know this the most. There have been so many threads this year where fans of actual good teams are worried about us based on the last few years and not the many flaws in this years roster.

I do not see how it is much different. I think the difference is that both teams are undefeated and are number 1 and 2 in the country. Over the past few years, while they were a top matchup, both teams carried in losses. The matchup is always exciting, but watching two undefeated teams go at it this deep in the season is something special

Anna and MJ have been much improved this year, but honestly I think I’m the most impressed with Frank, ESPECIALLY since the Florida match. She’s only had 2 reception errors has taken some of the best swings I’ve seen from anybody in the country, especially out of system. I remember Punzel compared her to Foecke when she first came in, and I’m finally starting to see that comparison a little bit (although Frank will NEVER be the defender or server Foecke was🤣)

The funny thing is that the Badger Nebraska match has little consequence for anything but bragging rights.
