Was thinking that this one could be a potential trap match...as much as NU at NW can be...but not in Madison.

I was thinking that this one could be a potential trap-match...much as NU at NW could be...but NOT in Madison. Wisconsin will almost certainly be putting a lineup of the floor that they've played only twice before, or a lineup that they've never put on the floor before. They won't be taking anything for granted. |

The good thing is, Izzy seems to trust Anna more than MJ does. Izzy did much better than I thought she would the last 2 matches running the show by herself. Seemed to get in a pretty good rhythm and found Smrek and Franklin a lot. But I don’t think you can say that MJ and Anna didn’t have a good connection lately. They have been lighting it up together. The bump sets by GG across the court to Anna have also been really fun to watch. Watching Anna this year makes me really wonder how banged up she was most of last season. I know she missed training time leading into season but watching in person last year there were times you could see that something was off. I remember after a point someone came over(maybe gg) and patted her on back and Anna stiffened and almost slapped her hand away instinctively. Made me think her lower back was the issue. It’ll be fun to watch both matches this week. Kind of interesting that Nebraska may not know what system we are running until warmups begin. |

For those attending in person, it's supposed to be a "white out". For me, that'll be a white UW hockey jersey.

I'm a little grumpy about the white out because my brand new Crawford jersey came in the mail yesterday and I have to shelve it until the Minnesota game. I will also be tapping into my women's hockey jersey collection as I think it's the only white piece of Wisconsin apparel I own. |

Trap match. Would be more concerned if it were Friday and vs PSU, Indiana or Purdue. Even with an off night, looking forward to Nebraska I don’t see Wisconsin losing to OSU. Maybe a game but I doubt.

From the Punzel Ohio State preview in re Londot. Reassurance for nervous Badger Fans: "She is hitting .210 for the season but just .174 in Big Ten play. Against the top 3 conference teams, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Penn State, she hit just .051 with 38 kills and 31 errors in 136 attacks."
Not enough help for Emily this season.

For those attending in person, it's supposed to be a "white out". For me, that'll be a white UW hockey jersey. I'm a little grumpy about the white out because my brand new Crawford jersey came in the mail yesterday and I have to shelve it until the Minnesota game. I will also be tapping into my women's hockey jersey collection as I think it's the only white piece of Wisconsin apparel I own. I'm rocking the white Disco Fever t-shirt from last year. It's the best I can do. Little Rainbow is very distressed that he does not have a white Badgers shirt (we don't buy him white shirts because they get stained). I had to assure him a grey one is fine. |

I’m grumpy because my Crawford jersey still hasn’t arrived. Supply Chain issues? The UWShop ones admit upfront that you can expect a few weeks before they arrive. I imagine they are cranked out as ordered for most players; I can't imagine they're sitting on a series of premade Sydney Reed or Ella Wrobel jerseys at UnderArmor HQ. |
