Time to start the 2024 - 25 Jobs page -- After just a week of play, Hill College (JuCo, Texas) has removed the HC from the web site and the newly hired asst is now interim Head Coach Sounds like the change did Hill good; the squad has gone 11-5 since the day of the above post. I love to see those moments when a team rallies around adversity like that. Do we know anything about the quality of that job? |

From what I could find, Hill is in an above-average conference. (Top 10 Weatherford is in Hill's conference) and in Hill's region, top squads New Mexico Military Institute, NMJC, Odessa and Blinn are also highly ranked squads in the area. Hill's play appeared to have slipped a bit over the past 2 years, but not dramatically.
Hill gets Weatherford again next week, so the result there should be a yardstick indicator of just how much more progress need be made.

Do we know anything about the quality of that job? JuCo jobs in Texas can be very similar to NCAA DI, or top DII, jobs in terms of budget, facilities, salary, etc.... While not a bad job, Hill is not one of those positions from what I have seen |

Looks like there are health issues he is dealing with. Maybe this is a temporary thing and he can be back in his HC role in the spring or next year. Appears that PSU-Behrend has slipped some over the past 2 seasons or so. D3 AMCC Rival Mt. Aloysius broke a 22-match losing run against Behrend in a 5-setter in Behrend's last match.
