Head coaching experience. First time head coaches can be a crapshoot, even if they are/were very well respected as assistants. She was appointed as the associate head coach, not head coach. Are you saying that Dave is retiring soon and that they are looking for his replacement? You are way over-projecting. The title of associate head coach has as many meanings as there are head coaches appointing them. I don't think too many of them are looking for their own replacements in the short term. Dave doesn't strike me as a person who will hang it up anytime soon. |

I’lll be extremely shocked if Idaho doesn’t have a new coach next year. The only thing that usually saves a coach when this happens is if a slew of players come to his defense. As we are seeing….the opposite is happening. |

It is sad that it takes this much stuff to happen for the school to step in and do something. I feel like most schools say they they care about the student athlete but in reality they only care what the outside perception is. They wont do anything about an issue until a story like this happens, and sometimes they wont even do about it then. Exactly. You just know there’s much more of this going on in other programs and the girls haven’t spoken out or it’s been swept under the rug. |

As we are seeing….the opposite is happening. It won’t take a coach to work miracles to be better. 1. Respect your players 2. Treat them like young adults 3. Be positive and build a culture of trust … 10. Teach them how to play volleyball |

There is nothing on website about coach leaving or who new coach is... |
