If the match goes to a 5th set do you GAIN a challenge (i.e. if you have 2 you get 3) or can you only have UP to 2 all match (i.e. if you have 1 or 0 you get one added, but stay at 2 if you have 2)?

You only get another challenge if you already lost at least one. Rules: 18.1.5.1 A team begins each match with two challenges per match. 18.1.5.1.1 If a fifth set is played, each team is awarded an additional challenge at the start of the set, not to exceed two total challenges. |
