Obviously Cougs playing well, but I just don't see Oregon as a top 10 team right now. Their defense is becoming a struggle.

Cougs take the 1st, 25-19. They really had their way with Oregon most of the set. Ducks looked OOS a lot.

Maybe I'm being critical, but Pukis' setting has not been great. Let's put Ferriera in lol. Pukis has had some misses, but she's getting credit for just putting hands on some of these. McClellan was great for us last year, but she's struggling like hell in passing and also getting targeted on defense with success. Her digs are going up, because of it, but even when the ball does get up they're not leading to transition swings. We need to take a chance with Thibault (assuming we aren't going to burn a redshirt). What is frustrating is we're struggling with ball control and 2 of our best in that regard are healthy on the bench with redshirts. I know there's a logjam at the OH position, but I wonder if Mimi on the right is an option. May help her get back on track offensively too. |

I really wanted to watch this game but sadly my direct tv, FS1, espn, espn+, BTN, and BTN+ (all for the sole purpose of watching volleyball) isn’t enough to watch this one. 😡

Her fantastic play early may have created a bit of a mirage and covered a lot of other issues. Now that she's settled down both passing and offensively, teams are really able to pick apart other weaknesses on this squad. |
