Oregon will look forward to this rematch, but WSU play well at home. Looking forward to a 4 or 5 set match.

The "from Sep 21, 2002" Volleyball History listed in the original post seemed like an arbitrary date selection to me. So I did some research to get the whole history (from 1976).
The 27-14 "from Sep 21, 2002" appears to be from the "History" link in WSU's schedule. I don't know why the linked data only goes back to 2002.
The Volleyball Notes released by WSU prior to the previous match against Oregon had WSU leading the series 38-34. Since WSU won the match, this would now be 39-34. This data goes back to 1986 (which was the beginning of Pac-10 Volleyball.
A review of WSU Media Guides shows that the All-time series (from 1976) is essentially even. Oregon leads 49-48. I couldn't find any Oregon published data for the early years schedules.
The series is dominated by massive winning streaks by Cindy Frederick and Jim Moore. The winning streaks happened because the coaches had good teams during years where their Oregon and WSU opponents were not very good.
Here are some series history tidbits:
- Jen Greeny leads Matt Ulmer 8-4. (2017 - present)
- Jim Moore's Oregon was 22-1 vs WSU (2005-2016). His only loss was in his 1st year. - Cindy Frederick's WSU was 27-3 vs Oregon (1989-2003). Her 3 losses were in her 1st two years. - In the Pac-12 era (2011-present), Oregon leads 15-8. - In the Pac-10 era (1986-2010), WSU leads 29-15. - In the NorPac era (1982-1985), Oregon leads 8-0.
- in the Pre-NorPac era (1976-1981), WSU leads 10-7.

What’s the word on Bacon? Neal played pretty well against Stanford, and some post-match quotes about how they were pushing each other in practice. There has been no announcement of an injury, but that also isn't necessarily definitive.
