Baylor really has no on court leadership, I know Briseño is captain, but you’d never be able to tell.

I thought someone saying Elliott’s #1 skill is emotional intelligence was funny. And maybe they’re right: admitting that you don’t know something (along with asking for directions) can be tough things to do for some people. I don't know. You're reading a lot more into it than I am. I'm just trying to make the thread a little more light hearted for a moment. I failed miseraby, lol.

Alright now Texas! Way to fight back. But the Baylor collapse is indicative of what happened last night.

Baylor really has no on court leadership, I know Briseño is captain, but you’d never be able to tell. To this point, when they get flustered, it collectively becomes a downward spiral. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next set is not competitive at all.

Baylor really has no on court leadership, I know Briseño is captain, but you’d never be able to tell. That was a bummer of a set to lose for Baylor. They really fought hard all set long. Took a commanding 24-20 lead. Even brought it back to deuce after Texas got another set point. They need to respond here.

Baylor started really overthinking things, there was a set forced behind to the right pin that didn't need to be in that Texas run, just set tempo to the left like you'd been doing.

The numbers are brutal.
9 attack errors for Baylor. 7 for Texas.
Baylor/Texas .068 versus .105 hitting percentage respectively.
2 aces both teams.
5 service errors for Baylor, 3 for Texas.
3 blocks for Baylor.
6! blocks for Texas in that first set. Holy cow!

3 sideouts in a row to make it 2-1 Texas in the 2nd set.

There is where Stowers being out becomes a factor. No feasible backup option at outside right now

O'Neal finger wags Bibinbe! After a back and forth between the two.
3-1 Texas.
3-2 Texas after a sideout.
Baylor scores on their serve. 3-3.

In between sets one the bench players I believe Baylor’s #9 was rallying the team/giving them a pep talk.
