Great first set by Baylor. 25-21
Texas needs to not let them get so far out at the beginning. Chased them all set long but couldn't close.

Carlson and Briseño outplayed their younger counterparts in Set 1. Need that to change if we want to win. We don’t have to outplay them but needs to be at least even. Then I have faith our offensive options will come through.

Baylor was just better overall in that set. They looked really good against UCF, so I’m not surprised. Incredible how many slow starts Texas has had.

Texas hitting .235. Baylor .182.
Baylor with 3 service aces.
Texas with 3 blocks. Baylor with 1.
Baylor with 44 attacks to UT's 34.

Loved Asjia being ready for that quick set in the middle, but Baylor did a great job coming up with it.
