Minnesota is not a good volleyball team.
Cook is a mystery. I realize Grote wasn't getting kills early, but she's the most consistent kill-getter for the Gophers and his willingness to pull her so quickly compared to the 15-1's-quality passing from his favorites will probably never be answered. He and the Gopher program deserve the lowest ranking and consideration the NCAA committee can think of.

I think the volleyball world was hoping for a better match than this…it should have been better… the 3rd set was better Because Minnesota scored 20 in the second set, I’m sure the Ehman oddity will have them back in her top 16 in the VMag poll and be advocating Murr as defensive player of the year in the B1G… That's completely unnecessary. Don't degrade people like that. photos leaves an odor on pretty much every post |

Franklin was god level yet again. If she doesn't get POW, it's because the coaches don't nominate her.
21 kills, 0.465, 8 digs, 4 blocks, 2 SA

that was boring lol i mean obivously wisconsin is the better team, but is minney's mid play/team in general bc of coaching? not as strong of a recruiting class? etc? i don't follow the gophers close enough so im genuinely curious to hear from someone who has a more informed opinion

I'm pretty sure Minny has more number 1 recruits on the court today than Sheff has had over his entire career at Wisconsin No need for #1 recruits, when you can just poach great players from other schools to make your team elite. A large reason we beat y'all today was because of the backcourt play of GG and Orzol. Was that poached too? When Franklin came over, she was nowhere close to this level of defense and serve receive. Nowhere close to this level of hitting. We trained her up. Maybe your coach can try that? Also, your team has FOUR transfers playing as starters lol. Davis, Phoebe, Murr, and Grote. Grote has literally been your best player for the majority of the season. And yet you want to try to call us out?? |

Nice effort from the Badgers. Helps with Franklin hitting at an All World level and TTA having a good match. The Gophers, to their credit, didn't pack it in down in the third set and won some long points with good plays on both sides.

I also think murr has always just been ok |
