Bittersweet win with the Cooper injury.

Bien was outstanding on defense tonight - particularly in the 1st two sets. obviously, Davis was the star of the game for KU.


Props to Kansas State - they completely outplayed Kansas in sets 2-4. Their serve receive was horrible in the 1st set, but after that - Carter, Bolding and Morris were so good. Szulczewski sets a great ball.

im pretty sure there is bc i've seen it called before in ncaa. i feel like the ref wasn't paying attention to how she fell.

i know she's moved on, but i wonder what szulczewski could have done with osu this year, having a new coach and renewed sense of focus

I am certainly not saying there was no violation, if you have body part over the center line and there is a player in the area which could be a safety issue, it should be called. No player in area in jeopardy, no violation.
I do think 2 ft may be a stretch. A player with a foot 2 feet over the line would be greatcat limbo to stay out if net. Also any blocker coming down 2 ft off the net isn't getting much penetration.
Also, even if ref called it,would not preclude her from being hurt.
