PVF is paying 60k. Overseas varies The biggest thing PVF has in it's favor is timing. It can get some of the top players in the spring before they go away for bigger bucks in the fall. But oftentimes year one is low overseas for about everyone (can increase a lot if you have a good year). Even top players from this year's NCAA said they can make more staying with PVF. But on the other hand, overseas contract is guaranteed versus potentially not making the roster (also potentially being cut from even the two required rookies as practice players--or maybe they don't want to be a practice player). Also, a great opportunity to go overseas for 4-4 1/2 months for the experience versus a whole 8-month season. Anyway, a lot to weigh into their decision.

According to the OWH, Anna Church was not invited to the training camp. Kristen Hahn-Tupac has been, but is absent.

After listening to the Collier's media huddle, I wonder if the Supernovas could fall into being another Toronto Maple Leafs:
Where the fans are so knowledgeable and the press are so omnipresent that the team tends to fold under the pressure and after a century, players see the insatiable hockey-hungry market as toxic instead of a positive.

I always thought Toronto needed another NHL team, like how New York has the Rangers and Islanders. The market in Toronto is big enough to support two teams. And having two teams can take the focus off the Maple Leafs and maybe allow them to thrive with less pressure on their backs. But I am getting off topic, haha.

Actually, ironhammer, that's an excellent point considering LOVB Omaha VB could do just that for the Supernovas players, if not coaching staff and front office. Edit: I just realized LOVB team names are all redundant. I say we should just refer to the teams as just "LOVB (Market)", as "(Market) VB" isn't specific enough
