Are UCSB's players that were out last week back? Are you talking about Sandy Thomas for Andi Kreiling? The Gauchos played on Halloween, and Kreiling started. Thomas did play, but it was briefly, and at the end of the fourth set.

She was back against Cal Poly this week too so prob safe to assume that both Farmer and Kreiling are gonna play against UH

I cannot wait to watch this match! Hawaii will need to play very well to defeat the Gauchos and tougher serving will be imperative. The Wahine will also need to neutralize either Ohwobete or Farmer and minimize their own errors. I choose Hawaii in 5 because I think they have stabilized their passing a little more and have been playing better floor defense and playing at home can count for something. I wouldn't be surprised to see UCSB get a win, especially if Farmer is back and healthy. In my opinion, she is the most dynamic pin in the conference (she is joined by another dynamic pin in Ohwobete) that can absolutely torch defenses. Hawaii's left side block has been weaker and porous this season so I'm hoping they can at least get some positive touches to help slow down the UCSB pins.

BTW if anyone's noticed that ESPN+ has the wrong start time listed for this match (11pm Pacific time, should be 10pm etc.) I contacted ESPN+ via their support chat site and asked that it be corrected. The agent seemed to understand the issue so it will hopefully be corrected soon. In past years, having the wrong start time listed did result in streaming starting late which would be really disappointing, especially for this match!

Hawaii should be the favorite as the match is on their home court. I think it will be hard fought but I predict Hawaii in 4.

Hawaii has a settled lineup. I love Hawaii's chances at home with a loud and boisterous crowd. If they could take UCSB to 5 on the road then I'm liking Hawaii's shot to take them out.
Hawaii faithful and the team got the UCSB and LBSU home matches circled down for sure. But Hawaii not taking anyone lightly.

The Wahine Middles need to be aware of the UCSB Pipe Sets. UCSB likes to go to the Pipe Sets during critical times during a Set, or even during a long Point. If the Wahine Middles allow UCSB to use the Pipe Set effective, their chances of winning the match become very difficult. That is what I will be looking at, can the Wahine Middles basically stop the UCSB Pipe Sets. If the Wahine Middles can, then I feel the Wahine can win this match, if NOT, I do not see them winning this match. Also can the Wahine receive Ohwobete's short serves, not get ACED.

ESPN+ still has not changed the start time for this match. ESPN+ is still showing the match to start at 11:00PM PST. What is wrong with ESPN+, anyway.
