this should be fun if Oregon were to win, does that give them an outside shot at beating out Louisville/texas for the 4th regional host? Oregon is already ahead of Texas in the Committee rankings, and nothing has happened since then to change where they stand. Texas needs Oregon to take a loss - and are hoping it happens here. so losing to stanford will move Oregon below texas? that sounds kinda dumb

This one's a free stream?! Big match and fun that it's on a Thursday. I expect you all to be here talking smack and complimenting Hambly’s physique an iPad skills. Haha that and Ulmer’s stache

They will need her healthy to take this one. I'd be more worried about other starters besides Kipp and Miner getting sick from the virus that is going around campus. The virus in question: halloweekend

Where can we watch the match??? Click on the PAC-12 logo in the OP or "Pac-12 Insider (free)" in the OP. Or did you mean something else?

I hope the stream works. Last night's WBB game at Stanford, the stream didn't start until near the end of the first quarter, and stopped a few times.

"Oregon and Stanford are fighting to host the first two rounds."
In what scenario do Stanford and Oregon not host the first two rounds? Do you mean fighting to host the regionals?

It seems like Stanford would probably be ok even with a loss here (and otherwise winning out) but Oregon would only be a top four seed if they win and other teams lose. I was trying to be vague bc of how quickly things change but worded it wrong.

If Oregon wins out they have a strong case (which is of course a big IF because it would require avenging two earlier losses). Oregon and LV winning out would be close, but Oregon's resume has a lot going for it. I can't think of anyone besides LV who would have a colorable argument to supplant Oregon in that situation.

You've been following this more closely than I have so you're probably correct. I agree that they have a strong case if they win out. That's why I mentioned it in the OP. They were one of only a few teams (other than Nebraska, Wisconsin, or Stanford) that seemed to have a reasonable chance to host a regional. I was thinking mainly of Louisville but haven't looked at Pitt and their schedule or some other teams since Monday. At the time I wrote the OP, Texas was also a strong candidate if things fell the right way for them. I haven't had time to look at it closely since then bc I've been updating my match threads.
