25-21 badgers. Set 2. Diane Nordstrom with her last ever calls on radio this weekend with Jon Arias as she is retiring. Legend. She was recognized at the match in the Field House last weekend.

Can someone who know volleyball better than me explain why we wouldn’t go back to orzol at OH at this point? She still passes 6 rotations. Yes GG is a worse passer than her but it doesn’t really matter in this case because frank orzol don’t change, the change in passing is half TTA/half GG going to all GG so still an upgrade so overall a passing upgrade. To me GG and orzol are about the same level defender, correct me if I’m wrong, I’m not an expert I know it’s 2 sets against a bad team but orzol is hitting better than tta usually does and I think she is a better blocker. And you don’t have to worry about running out of subs and having TTA in the back or worse GG up front. Overall seems to me like a clear positive, can anyone explain why they wouldn’t except for continuity sake? Oh and you get GG OOS setting 6 rotations instead of 3 because then you would have to sit one of TTA, Anna, Devyn, booth, or Crawford to make room for Julia at OH.

And healthy, you do not want to sit either of them. Basically UW has seven quality front row players for six positions. The 'solution' was/is Orzol at libero.

I’m not suggesting TTA move to RS, I’m suggesting she not be in the starting lineup

Sheff thinks that's a net loss.

Reading comprehension folks, I am not suggesting anything switch except orzol to OH, and GG to libero and TTA to the bench, where in that post did I say anything about a 5-1??

Sheffield's basic philosophy, from back in the Kelli Bates year at libero, is "best 7 (or 8 or 9) on the court", and then figure out how to arrange them. TTA is one of their best 7 or 8 or 9 players.

If five people misunderstood what you were asking, your question likely was not very clear.

If five people misunderstood what you were asking, your question likely was not very clear. I feel like I understood it perfectly. I just honestly don't know how to answer it. EDIT: I think the main reason that Orzol got put at libero at the start of the season was that GG was playing poorly - she was getting too dug in on defense and having no mobility and her passing wasn't good. I just don't know how to evaluate it based on how they are playing now.

I genuinely couldn’t tell you where people would misinterpret my question?
