We were at the match, nothing like a loud Rec Hall! Why wasn’t Dimes Grimes libero last year? She seems to be the missing libero that we haven’t had since K White! It’s really great to see Zoe back out there, playing at a high level.

Well…in the Penn State match only. Orzol replacing Smrek was incredible. While Batenhorst hitting negative -.094 replacing Krause was ummm not. TTA replaced Anna on the RS...do her numbers No thanks. Don’t be ridiculous. The frontline replacement for Smrek was Orzol. TTA switched sides and was bad like she’s been all year. |

Podraza was solid tonight and guided her team to a massive upset. She is smiling tonight and enjoying a fantastic weekend with her teammates. 1st 2nd, 3rd 4th best setter in B1G .  I don't think she give a flying F at this stage in her career. Does she need to clean up her speed to the OH and location behind...sure does...but it was good enough this weekend and the coaches will help her address those fixable elements. |

PSU has 15 aces this weekend and caused a ton of havoc from the service line.
That is a very significant point of growth for this team.

What is the status of Smrek? Is there any estimate how long she'll be out? Assume concussion - got a facial in practice I assume - out a few weeks. She will hopefully be back in Dec! Ok, thx. Concussions are usually one or two weeks, but you have to past certain tests to get out of the protocol. |

There's a difference between hitting .207 (TTA's season hitting % before this match) and hitting negative -.100+ lmao from the right. Smrek is a .400 hitter from the right. Smrek wouldn't let Hannah hit .400+ either but let's not count that either. Not to mention, losing Anna means we're shuffling THREE positions. Losing Krause means you're shuffling one. There's no comparisons. |

I'm sure we all know how difficult it is to win in Happy Valley when you're down one of your biggest pin hitters. Is Krause vs Smrek really a good comparison though The question would be how much each team counts on the missing player. It's an apt comparison. |

Coached volleyball for years and you want a libero like grimes. When a team like Wisconsin stays away from you that is showing you respect. Yes she was so good tonight! I am interested to see next year with Falduto coming in. That will be a battle for the libero jersey. I’ve watched this for years. Won’t be close. After a year maybe but not 1st year. Grimes is playing against Big Ten competition and someone else is playing against high school/club…not even close. Learn from Grimes. |
