Georgetown swept Lawrence Tech, as expected. Tomorrow's Vanguard-Georgetown match should be fun to follow! Georgetown looked dominate. Tomorrow's match should be a lot of fun.

Ridiculous that anyone makes a big deal out of a skyball. I have seen Master's play, in-person, a bunch of times over the last several years. They are the only team that I have seen, at any level(HS, college, pro indoors and beach) that have called block touches on themselves, overruling referees. And in critical points in games. Your classless comments are misplaced. And if that's the case, that's awesome. Love that for them, genuinely wish more teams did that. Doesn't change the fact that move falls into that category. Two things can be true: they can be a classy organization that does things as you've listed, and someone from their team can pull a disrespectful move, which that was. Is it Daniel Isernhagen from last year bad? No. But does it fall into that realm? Objectively, yes. Doesn't define the program as a whole, but it is now a part of the conversation. (Also pro teams call their stuff all the time sooooo....yeah. Merry Christmas!)

All the time? That is why I see a touch/no-touch call being reviewed to see if a finger deflection happened?

(Also pro teams call their stuff all the time sooooo....yeah. Merry Christmas!) The fact is, no college team does that except Master's. What the player did was a legal serve where the outcome was basically assured. The simply isnt true i have seen time where someone touches the ball in a college and the ref refuse to overrule the call, ive seen many team take ownership of touches and no team calls every touch lol. Regardless Master is not a bad team, have bad culture or a massive problem, a athlete made a bad decision. Let the coaching staff have a conversations with him and set him straight and move on. It was showboating and its legality is irrelevant, it was done to taunt the other team which is why people on here have a problem with it. There is tons of talking that goes on at the net tons of taunting that occurs during play so treat it like it is, a mistake by a college kid and lets move on. Justifying it isn't any more necessary then crucfieying masters for it.

Can’t change the fact that it happened yall. Forget about it and spend the rest of the week talking about stuff that is important. Big game going on right now that could set up a potential tie or end in a major upset of pool D. Tune into that and discuss the games and players we get to celebrate this week don’t get lost in some pointless argument.

Ike Papes with the hustle play of the tournament going through a camera and into a table to save a ball. Gets hurt on the play but comes back in to help lead William Penn to a 3-1 win over Reinhardt.
William Penn put on a block party.

Thursday brings the conclusion to pool play (or does it).
10:00 if Saint Xavier beats Grand View they take the pool. If Grand View wins we have a three way playoff (with Westcliff) on Friday morning.
4:00 if William Penn wins they win the pool. If OUAZ wins, we have the same three way tie scenario (with Reinhardt).
1:00 Vanguard and Georgetown play with the winner advancing to the first semi final on Friday (Lawrence Tech has been eliminated).
7:00 The Masters and Jamestown play with a spot in the semi on the line (Host- Mount Mercy eliminated)
Here is who I have after watching the first two days
Grand View in 4 Vanguard in 4 William Penn in 3 Masters in 3

I am interest to see Georgetown and Vanguard matchup but I think I agree with a 3-1 Vanguard win as well as Masters in 3 I also believe will be the case

If there are tiebreaker sets on Friday morning, where will they be streamed? I have been watching the pool play on Hudl.

If there are tiebreaker sets on Friday morning, where will they be streamed? I have been watching the pool play on Hudl. I am assuming they will be on Hudl as well, but maybe they will have already broken every thing down for the week. The way the tie breakers will work is a reseeding of the teams based on sets win/lost and then points. 2 seed plays 3 seed, one game to 25. Winner will then play the 1 seed in another set to 25 with the winner advancing. I don’t think playing 1-2 sets will have too much of a physical toll on the teams, but the warm up could (not sure if they will be condensed). Also will be tough for the team playing the first set to have the emotional high and then wait for the 1 seed to warmup before stepping back on the court.

St. Xavier looks VERY good right now...11-7 over Grandview set 2 at time of posting. This may be a team no one wants to see. Wowza
