Sounds like Burns is/was battling a wrist injury - explains the play and going a different direction on Saturday. She looks very normal tonight.

Kansas wins set 1, 25-16. Baylor had 9 hitting errors in that set and only 2 of those were Kansas blocks. Lots of balls into the net. And they’re getting tooled so much on the block.

Some good quality in the 2nd set.
McGhee, Murphy, and Cooper have so much length - they are just hitting over the block and finding the floor. Bibinbe is really good.

Kansas really came back to steal that set after Baylor player well the whole way through El Nady never fails to impress at her size and Turner is so talented as well.

What a brutal set for a team to lose. Baylor hit .488 in the set and lost.
Both teams combined for 42 kills and 1 error for the entire set. 0 Blocks.
Kansas hitting .515 for the match. Cooper has been outstanding.

Kansas really came back to steal that set after Baylor player well the whole way through El Nady never fails to impress at her size and Turner is so talented as well. That has been Baylor’s story all season. They lose a lot of late leads and become way too timid and safe in clutch moments. |
