Last weekend, Washington lost 0-3 to USC and 1-3 to UCLA. They still have a chance to make the tournament if they win and things fall their way Last weekend, Utah lost 1-3 to Arizona and 0-3 to Arizona State. It looks like they won't make the tournament

Complete toss up for me. Utah has some strong matches, and then some poor matches. Washington has strengths, but passing and blocking are struggles. Be curious if Zilbert is back. That'd be helpful. Also, is Barton recovered after what occurred in the last match. We will see.

I'm sure someone else may have more details. |

Just found the info in the match thread. Apparently, she collided with Endsley. She’s going to be back as well as Zilbert. That's good news. We'll see what the lineup looks like tonight. From what I could see last weekend, Barton's injury was to a calf area just above her ankle. She came back to the bench in the fourth set (from the locker room) and did not have ice or anything else on her leg, so I assumed that the decision not to put her back in was precautionary. Also, she was not having a good match. I'll be curious to see if they put her back in serve receive tonight -- she has really struggled with passing of late. |
