this season is a great example of how these larger conferences are gonna have to figure out even scheduling... Louisvile is gonna finish behind Florida State in the league, and FSU might just share an ACC championship with Pitt... it's really quite tragic. I like what the ACC has already announced they'll be doing, as it should even things out in theory, but how teams are year to year can change dramatically. Also the Pitt celebration circle is like a carbon copy of the Stanford tradition which annoys me personally, bye. FSU has the head-to-head tiebreaker over Pitt. If they both end up 16-2, FSU will be the ACC champion, no sharing involved. they will share it lol. Same record

But every conference ever simply awards co-champions when there is a tie. Pitt will absolutely be named ACC champions if they tie FSU.

This has very quickly become one of the great rivalries in all of volleyball.

ACC apparently didn’t know FSU was going to be good or they would’ve played Pitt twice

Head to head tiebraker only matters for tournament AQ.

Just catching up on sets 3 and 4 of this match (tuned out to watch Texas) - that 4-0 run in the 4th where Louisville subbed out Glock and Aiko Jones was setting quicks to Cresse was crazy impressive. I can't remember another time I've seen that before - a non-setter setter pushing the middle like that

Sad I missed this one, and that the Cards lost, but judging from this thread I still can’t wait to go back and watch. Hoping these two meet yet again in the tournament that would be electric. Settle the tied H2H this year with an all out battle.
