Sad I missed this one, and that the Cards lost, but judging from this thread I still can’t wait to go back and watch. Hoping these two meet yet again in the tournament that would be electric. ACC apparently didn’t know FSU was going to be good or they would’ve played Pitt twice im pretty sure the ACC schedule is basically built to maximize rpi based on the programs on their cumulative finish across the last 3/4 seasons. The schedule this year basically said FSU has been middle of the pack during that time and they didn’t want to hurt the other three teams by having them play them twice. It’s something weird like that |

I don't watch much pitt volleyball, but what different strengths did Stafford, VG, and Babcock provide throughout the match? Intrigued by this team for sure

Intrigued by this team for sure well for one, VVG has been in college for what seems like eighty five years, so there’s that super duper trooper senior leadership. 85 years, LOL. And she's coming back for her 86th! Seriously though, this was VVG's best performance against a high level team that i can remember. Someone on Louisville was smack talking, and it seemed to really raise VVG's level of play and intensity. |

It got so bad VVG had to talk to the ref on the live stream of the match I only saw one player yelling bitch across the net and it wasn't luper lol - it was vvg vvg took it farther than anyone else on the court. luper and Babcock were exchanging glances all match - only one person was screaming across the net I dont want people to think im criticizing anyone for smack talking bc I really dont care, but the notion on here that luper was the big bad guy tonight isn't really fair to her lol. there was a lot of stare downs from multiple players on both teams |
