Bucky doesn’t have that “it” factor. Two losses in matches they had match point. SE at 23-23 at Penn State. Lots of talent, but missing “it” to this point in the season. I hope they find it. They don't have it because they have some players who aren't dependable and who aren't clutch. That is a fact going back to Pitt last year. |

Maryland, Michigan, and Michigan State? Michigan State’s the only threat of those three. It's Purdue, they've grown, but this is still the same team that's lost to Loyola, Northwestern, and Illinois. They can absolutely still pull a loss to any team. The same team on paper, but on the court they’ve grown a lot. Maryland is not good, Michigan’s made strides, but they’re not there yet. Michigan State will be a good test. |

Don’t wanna be that person but gonna be that person lolll, this is how much effect having one key player out for a few games affects a team. Imagine having 3 for the season!! And actually seems as though we have four athletes out right now. Wrobel and Damrow have been out most of the season, McCAA wasn't dressed, and then there is Anna. I thought that because of the sweatshirts, but (except for Damrow)I think they all had shorts and knee pads in a couple of 'huddle' TV shots. I think they were all 'available'. |

People were amused in the VT Top 25 Poll thread this week when I said Purdue should be ranked higher. I think they deserve to be in the 10-15 range. Purdue is still fully capable of losing to Maryland before this week ends! |

The same team on paper, but on the court they’ve grown a lot. Maryland is not good, Michigan’s made strides, but they’re not there yet. Michigan State will be a good test. Team full of underclassmen playing "easy" games after just knocking off #3. They could still do it. I promise I'm only being slightly paranoid, I legitimately believe they could drop these, just because they have shown to be mercurial. Temp has trending up though! |

I could easily argue the “it” factor you’re referring to is Smrek but she’s been out due to a concussion protocol. |

Purdue is still fully capable of losing to Maryland before this week ends! Purdue can be frustrating to watch, for sure. In the same match they can look average during some sets and look like a top 4 team in other sets. |

Honestly them and USC are like the same team to me can play with any of the top teams but also lose and lots of 5 setters on the season. |
