Is Scottee Johnson in the portal, or did she retire from volleyball? Seems she’s not returning to Michigan (the team, at least), only other program she follows on IG is Illinois.

Are schools able to offer a scholarship to transfer students before the NCAA season is over or before the portal opens? Yes. As long as they are in the portal. When can Fall 24 grads enter the portal for Fall 25? Do they even need to enter the portal? |

Yes. As long as they are in the portal. When can Fall 24 grads enter the portal for Fall 25? Do they even need to enter the portal? Grad transfers can enter at any time during the academic year. And, yes, I believe they need to enter the portal for other coaches to contact them. I just wouldn't expect as many grad transfers going forward. Almost everyone has used their covid year except maybe if they had a redshirt for another reason and were in school in 2020-21. The most likely grad transfers in the future are going to be early entries who graduate from high school a semester early. |
