Rumor was he was intoxicated and and angry, then thru a wine bottle at a player. Made a scene... and got dismissed from his position (a second time). he really needs to seek medical help for his addictions. It's cost him his Volleyball career, his Marriage, and now his coaching career. He really should not be mentor for kids at any age. he needs to get his addictions in check and under control. I feel for the guy a little but as a parent of a former player of his, he should not be coaching because he is unstable when there is stress. and when he is alone I am sure he can't shake the demon's. Get better Riley, step completely away from the environment that keeps dragging you down. Volleyball may have been his passion, but now he is killing it for many young players.

Will Chris Sieffert still be the coach? Yes. Rob announced on Mondays podcast that he has been elevated to head coach. I may have to correct myself on that one. I thought I saw it on social but I went back and couldn't find anything. Then I went to CUI's website for any releases and there were none to be had. The only other chatter I heard was that he has been seen at Juniors events (with the other coaches on the podcasts) recruiting. With that, I apologize for the mis-reporting-- according to the very un-updated CUI site, he's still the INTERIM. |
