Panthers take the second set -25 on an overturned no touch call
A few points earlier, they confirmed an out call against SIU. The line judge called it in but was overruled by the up ref. We only saw bad angles but it looked in to me. I hope they had better angles. They probably did bc the two ESPN showed were bad for judging in/out

UNI comes from behind to take S2 27-25. Questionable in/out call that went to UNI on an early set point for SIU. Then they challenge a touch on their own set point and get the call for the win. Kira Fallert with 15 kills already for UNI.

UNI finishes off the sweep! All of these bubbly teams are making trojansc 's job way too easy. We need chaos! Please. If we're talking about matchups-wise... my matchup is like playing Purdue (NCAA) or DR (FIVB). They'll never win it all, but it's always a chaotic opponent that is unpredictable and can ruin your day/season/tournament. |

UNI sweeps! idk who the play by play was, but I really liked them That’s my guy Greg Halbleib! The voice of the Valley for many years. He’s a Pro. some of his pet phrases (calling aces "spades", referring to every attack that brushes fingers of the blocker as going off the "cuticles", exclaiming "en garde!" whenever there is a joust, calling timeouts "stoppages", and others) get a bit annoying, IMO. And sometimes he says things that don't make sense to me. "Coach [so-and-so] is now out of stoppages unless this set gets to deuce". No, extra timeouts are not awarded just because a set goes beyond. But aside from that, he does an alright job. Certainly better than many of the announcers that call volleyball on espn+ |
