I'm sorry, but what have you seen from Nya that makes you think that she'll start over Mari? it’s more what we’ve seen from Mari, imo, plus the middle “positions”. Ames is a slide hitting middle, but Mari seems to be that too, and imo Ames is better. Bunton is much more of the quick hitting middle. Mari’s blocking has left a lot to be desired and that was kind of Bunton’s thing in HS, but I’m not sure how much she’s developed with her injury. Mari is good in front of the setter as well and from what I remember, Bunton has a weird arm swing.

I’ll be honest, for our quick hitting middle, I care way less about the offense than I do the blocking, but the staff may not see it that way.

What is our projected rotations 😜? OH: Skinner (6 rotations) OH: Wenaas (6 rotations) MB: Singletary MB:Ayden/Nya L:Halter Opp: Kahahawai (if she stays) DS:Akana I've heard great things about Reese Emerick, so IDK if Wenaas is a lock on 6ro. Not to mention Byrd or Helmers coming for the front 3

She has the most experience, but I feel she probably has the better passing/defense in comparison with Byrd so that’s why I figure they will put her as the next OH( I guess Byrd could be DS if that’s the issue) I do think Devin will be better in the right vs OH, but will she consistently be better than what Byrd can be? It’s gonna be a fun competition

From what I’ve seen of Nya and Ayden, I really think it might be them. I'm sorry, but what have you seen from Nya that makes you think that she'll start over Mari? Blocking. From the USA squads. And Mari seems to really struggle in that department.

Looking ahead to the SEC next year - quality opponents in Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, maybe Auburn and back to playing A&M... Does JE still schedule the non-conference as tough as he had to with Big 12?
I imagine we will keep playing Baylor, TCU, Rice in some way or another. Plus Stanford, Minnesota. Dunno about tOSU

I mean she could play oh2 and opp while Skinner plays oh1 and backrow?
